Privacy

The short version: your KiCad files stay in your browser, and we keep only what we need to run your account.

Your design files

When you drop a project on the page, it is read and parsed in your browser, in a web worker. The files are not uploaded to pcbai. While you sign in, the parsed files wait in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) and are removed when you come back.

During an AI review

The AI model looks at the design through tools: it asks for an overview, a component, a net, the routing of a net or the check results, and your browser answers from the parsed design. Those questions and answers, and the model's replies, pass through our server to the model and back. They are not stored after the review, and they are not used to train models.

The model is a Claude model from Anthropic, run on Amazon Bedrock in AWS with routing kept inside the EU. Under Bedrock's terms, prompts and outputs are not used to train models or shared with the model provider.

Your account

Sign-in uses Amazon Cognito. We store your email address, so that each person gets one free review, and a usage record: when your free review started and how many model steps it used. We don't sell or share this data, and we only email you about your account.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses no third-party trackers or advertising cookies. Your sign-in session is kept in your browser's local storage.

Deleting your data

Ask us to delete your account and its usage record at any time, and we will.
